How do I provide a resale certificate?

If you’re a United States based business purchasing items for resale (for example, a book or toy shop), you can send us your resale certificate so we can apply the appropriate tax treatment to your account.

What to do:

• Email your resale certificate to our support team (include your Fishpond account email).
• Make sure the certificate includes your business name, resale/seller permit number, and is signed and dated.

What happens next:

• We’ll review your certificate and, if valid, update your account settings.
• Future eligible orders will reflect the correct tax treatment at checkout.
• We can also assist with recent orders placed before approval (please include order numbers in your email).

Important notes:

• The resale exemption applies only to items purchased for resale, not for business or personal use.
• We must have a valid certificate on file before applying any changes.
